Exchange for Change’s partnership with the Green Family Foundation has been a lifeline for hundreds of incarcerated students who might otherwise remain idle. Our mission is to provide incarcerated individuals with a supportive environment in which to learn, grow, and thrive on both sides of the prison fence. As a result of the communication skills we teach and the community connections we foster, we aim to increase incarcerated students’ writing abilities, self worth, and sense of community, and reduce recidivism. Without the support of the Green Family Foundation this would not happen.
