GFF Announces Sponsorship of 6th Annual Women's International Film & Arts Festival, March 30 - April 3rd

The Green Family Foundation (GFF) proudly announces we are joining Women's International Film & Arts Festival (WIFF) as sponsors for this weekend's 6th annual event. Spanning five days (March 30 - April 3), this year's festival will feature 50 films -- all produced and/or directed by women.

"They had me at 'only seven percent of today's film directors are women,'" recalled GFF President Kimberly Green. "As a film-maker myself, I am extremely honored for this opportunity to work with this amazing organization, led by WIFF President & Founder Yvonne McCormack-Lyons, to help promote and amplify the voices of women worldwide through film."

WIFF's mission is to become the "premiere film festival in the world for women to network, screen their films, and recognize the brilliance and accomplishments of women throughout the globe. We believe the images of women on film directly effect how women are perceived, valued and treated in society." 

GFF is sponsoring two of the fifty films this weekend:

"Haiti: One Day, One Destiny" by Michele Stephenson
Screening Time/Date: 7:30 pm, Friday, April 1
Location: Hollywood Central Performing Arts Center

"Pushing The Elephant" by Beth Davenport and Elizabeth Mandel
Screening Time/Date: 7:30 pm, Saturday, April 2
Location: Hollywood Central Performing Arts Center
